One animal of maximum 8 kg ( including transport box) per passenger
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs of course have their own personal place on board of the "Sky Alps" aircraft.
What you need to keep in mind
when travelling with your pet
- Maximum weight: 8 kg (including transport box).
- Minimum age: 12 weeks
- The transport box must be softly padded, leak- and odor-proof, and large enough to allow the animal to stand, lie down, and turn around naturally inside the closed box.
- The box must be escape-proof, waterproof and bite-proof.
- The inside of the box should be lined with absorbent material. We advise on taking a blanket or old clothes. Newspapers, cardboard or sand are not allowed.
- On board, the animal is stowed under the seat in its transport box. If this is not possible, it must be attached to the seat belt with a leash while it remains in the closed box.
- In the cabin is allowed maximum one pet for each passenger.
- For international flights it is mandatory to have the pet's passport and vaccination card, while for national flights the vaccination card is enough for flying.
Holidays with your four-legged friends
Because they are part of the family
Do not leave your beloved four-legged friend at home, but simply take him with you. Skyalps welcomes pets up to 8 kg (including transport softbox) on board.
The transport softbox dimensions must not exceed 45 x 23 x 25 cm or 45 x 42 x 20 cm.
Assistance dogs:
Assistance dogs travel in the cabin at no extra charge. Dogs must wear a harness throughout the flight. Reservations must be taken through the Sky Alps Call Center (+39 0471 060950). When doing so, all necessary documents to prove that they are trained assistance dogs, must be presented.
