Ground Operations Support Officer (m/f/d)
We are looking for a Ground Operations Support Officer (m/f/d) to join our team.
This role is responsible for coordinating and supporting ground operations management activities across the airport network, with a particular focus on passenger assistance — especially in case of operational irregularities or baggage handling — as well as the management of ad hoc charter flights.
The goal is to ensure the smoothest possible ground operations for SkyAlps by providing the necessary support in handling operational events.
The GOS works in close collaboration with the operations control center and is an integral part of interdepartmental coordination.
Ideal profile:
- Experience in airport ground handling, knowledge of DCS and PSS systems
- Basic computer skills, proficient in Excel and Word
- Excellent command of spoken and written English (other languages are a plus)
- Ability to handle non-routine situations with variable workloads related to operational irregularities
- Strong orientation towards teamwork, problem solving, continuous learning, and autonomous work
Work organization:
The GOS position is structured to cover almost the entire 24-hour cycle, 7 days a week (depending on the season).
Availability to work in shifts — including nights, weekends, and holidays — is therefore required.
Contract type and salary will be defined based on the selected candidate’s profile and experience.
