Ultner Brot’s Schüttelbrot is made from rye flour and classically refined with caraway and fennel. Extra-thin and therefore extra-crispy. Its flat shape comes from “shaking” the dough before baking. Dry baking ensures long shelf life and lasting crunch. Since 1919, Ultner Brot has baked this South Tyrolean original in the Ultimo Valley using time-tested, artisanal methods.
